Fees
My fee is $250 for a 45-minute session. Payment is collected at the time of service. I accept cash, checks, credit, debit, HSA or FSA cards. I am happy to provide receipts for any method of payment.
Cancellation policy
If you need to cancel a session, please contact my office at 646-543-9510 at your earliest convenience. If you cannot provide 24 hours’ notice, I will need to bill you for the session. The reason for this is that advance notice gives me an opportunity to schedule someone else for your time slot.
Insurance
Although I do not take insurance directly, I am happy to provide you a detailed invoice that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
Working with an out-of-network provider offers benefits you cannot get in-network, including:
• With in-network providers, your insurance company can influence treatment goals and will usually limit the number of sessions.
• Insurance companies often audit in-network therapists’ records, which violates your confidentiality.
• Working with an out-of-network provider may let you command significant reimbursement for your fees paid without any risks to your confidentiality or the autonomy of your treatment. All treatment decisions are made solely between us, including the type of therapy used, its length, and who should or should not be consulted.
